FAQs Registration and Billing

How do your level/grade groupings work with such a large age spread?

This is an understandable concern. Several characteristics of our program make this age range not only possible but beneficial.

Classes are structured without much free time. Students are on task, working together toward a common aim. Children in homeschooling families are used to spending time and working together with children of different ages. There is a generosity, kindness & mutual respect that exists between students of all ages in our program. We aim to challenge all our students in developmentally appropriate ways, and 10 years old is the age when young students tend to be ready for more challenging projects.

Which class level/grade should I choose?

We have a lower school (K-5th) and an upper school (5th & Up). Within these groups, the age ranges may be further broken down, depending on registration demographics.

There is flexibility for you as a parent to decide your child’s best fit. If you have questions, please ask!

Do you offer visits for prospective students?

Yes! Contact us below to schedule an appointment. We would love to meet you!

Do you offer family discounts?

Instead of offering family discounts, we price our classes at the best value possible. Most families take advantage of our discounted Packages. Unlike many other homeschool programs, our classes are taught by trained specialists in their fields, not parent volunteers. In addition, parents do not contribute volunteer time to the program as is required by most co-ops.

How do tuition payments work?

Tuition fees are per student per month. Tuition will be charged to the debit/credit card on file on the 1st of each month that class is in session, beginning in October and ending in April. September tuition will be charged on July 1 to hold your space. Though the number of classes varies each month, monthly tuition is based on the total number of classes for the whole year divided evenly across the number of months the class is in session; monthly tuition is the same each month and does not vary according to the number of classes/month. A late fee of $20 will be assessed for overdue payments on the 10th of the month.

If you prefer to pay by cash or check, yearly tuition in full is due by September 1. There is a 3% discount for pre-payment by cash or check by September 1.

Are we obligated to the full year program?

Your child will gain so much being in the full year program, but we understand that situations change, so we provide flexibility through monthly tuition. There is no annual financial commitment.

Tuition is non-refundable. In order to drop a class and not be charged on the 1st of the month, you must give 30 days notice by email.

Families who pre-pay the full year and who drop classes mid-year will be refunded for any unused months, including the 3% discount, minus a $40 administrative fee.

I love that I can trust my daughter is in a safe and secure environment with adults that care. The program is run very well and there is a lot of attention to detail. I love that the classes are taught by adults with a background in their area of study.
