A vibrant Homeschool Arts Program your children will love.

Our Story.

From Ballet School to Homeschool.

It all began in 2010 at Octorara Ballet School in Gap. Because of the positive, wholesome culture of the ballet school, many homeschoolers enrolled in the ballet program. With several talented artists and teachers under the leadership of Gwen Potter, a small homeschool arts program was born. For several years we held homeschool classes in the ballet studio!

Though our size and location have changed, our commitment to nurturing excellence in our students and providing wholesome, creative inspiration to every student in our program remains the same!

The teachers are kind and professional!

FAQs LEAP Program

May I come check out the program?

Yes! Please contact us through the form below to schedule an appointment. We look forward to meeting you!

Is this a good place for my child to build friendships?

Yes! LEAP is a group of generous, fun, creative children and families. These are people that are definitely worth time to get to know.

LEAP is a structured program. Within the structure of the program, there are opportunities for students to chat together in Art and to work together toward a common goal in Theatre and Choir, both of which create camaraderie. We offer a Park Day and New Student Orientation in August and a Field Day in May. Celebration Days at the end of April are a joyful time of mingling with other families and experiencing the atmosphere of our program.

My child doesn’t read or write well yet. Will he/she be able to participate?

Yes! In K-3 there is very little writing and reading. From 4th Grade up, Theatre and Choir will require students to take notes and follow along in their scripts or music. Please let us know if your student needs assistance.

Is this a Christian program?

Our classes are taught from a Christian perspective and most of our families come from either Protestant or Catholic backgrounds, but there is no requirement that families subscribe to a statement of faith.

Do you give grades for high schoolers?

Our teachers do not assign grades for these elective classes. We meet 1x/week and your student will accumulate approximately 25-30 hours for each class.
